By The Sea

An exhibition of photograpic prints by one of our members, Michael Hilton. Seascapes & seaside pictures from around the coast of Britain, and further afield. From 1st January 2010. The exhibition is in the Guild foyer and can be viewed whenever the Guild is open.

WGPS Exhibitions at Total Fitness

A selection of members' prints is on show at the Quench Cafe in Wilmslow Total Fitness, until the 14th of November.

From 14th November until Christmas there will be an exhibition of prints from the Society's new 2010 Wilmslow Calendar.

WGPS Calendar 2010

The new Wilmslow Calendar 2010 will be published on the 9th of November. The calendar is produced every year by members of the Society and contains 12 beautiful photographs of Wilmslow and the surronding area. It is always very popular and finds it's way into homes around the world.

The calendar can be purchased from the Guild office. This year you can also buy it from the Quench Cafe at Total Fitness - in Wilmslow (Handforth Dean), Altrincham, and Chester.

Special Talks

Every year we hold at least one special event. In recent years we've been entertained by broadcaster & naturalist Bill Oddie; well-known wildlife photographer Andy Rouse; internationally recognised author and photographer, Ben Osborne, BBC photographer and more. These events are open to all.

2nd December 2009 - Ben Hall

Ben will be talking on ‘Local wildlife photography’ - In the last few years Ben has gained international recognition as one of Britain’s foremost wildlife photographers.
